“The Constant Gardener” must be a movie about the Mexican experience in America. Or maybe, “The Constant Housekeeper.” How about, “The Constant Welfare Recipient,” or “The Constant Deliveryman?”
While (European-ancestry) Christians and Jews have legitimate holidays this year, the unfortunate converted Hispanics—whose ancient civilizations were crushed by infighting and Spanish conquests—have to adopt Christianity and, more often, Catholicism as their own.
